Another Hard Day at the Office » Home

Well it's beats working...

Back in the UK

15th April - just cancelled my run in the Brighton Marathon for this Sunday April 18th, was hoping to, at best hobble round with some friends who were just aiming to finish, but there's no way I'd be up to even that.......so hopefully I'll heal / feel better in time for The Three Forts on May 3rd.

It's amazing how so soon after the fall I was back on skis / able to cycle etc but in hindsight think that was the strong painkillers / anti inflamatories etc as now evidently things get worse as the bruising slowly comes out. Tad depressed.

Last updates to the blog are in the "Fifth Week"  here

Along with pictures of that "Cliff" that so nearly got me!

And great to have scored a classic La Grave day with Bing the day before, courtesy of Per our guide for the day.
Does not get much better than this!

Plus have uploaded a little video of the very impressive kiteboarding up at the Col du Galibier

Internet WIFI by MOJOS & THE FROG depending on how Pooch is feeling!

We've returned to Serre Chevalier staying in the same Chalet Apartment (see or location) as last year.

In case you missed it, or feel the need to look at it again - here's the Blog from last year!

The amount of kit we've taken out was stupid - even took my 105FSW for a mate, plus rig - then there's the boards for friends coming out later, all the wine and beer, plus my pushbike, think last count was 6 pairs of skis and three snowbaords - luckily we have a garage we can stash all the kit in.

I've actually been experimenting with this site for quite a whilst getting to grips with a new Content Management System (CMS). You'll see that you now have the ability to make your own comments to the various blogs, although they will not appear immediately as we'll review them first to see if they are actually suitable for publication!

Down the bottom of the page are various links to some of the "toys" we're using this year. I know it's quite biased to skiing but we will be taking all the snowboarding kit too, plus running kit and my pushbike as we have to keep up with the training as it's the Brighton Marathon a week after we return, as well as The Three Forts Marathon (Fantastic Entry Form!) a couple of weeks later!

And not forgetting "Pooch The Dog"........!

And of course, Pooch will again be travelling out to the Mountains with us, though she's already seen a fair amount of snow this winter already, and we'll be typing her blog and take on things again.

Ha ha
Just seen Mr WC, called round to borrow my spare transceiver for his better half ( not Mrs WC ), He's slightly stressed at quantity of kit in his van! Safe journey to you all.
Regards
Jes
